Description and identification of a Indian sculpture in Baron von der Heydt's collection dating back to the end of the 9th or first half of the 10th century. This dvarapala is thought to come from a temple in the former Pudukkottai State, the Tanjore, Tiruchirapalli or South Arcot Districts.
