| How Travel Can Change Your Life | |
| Fri 18 Aug 2006 | |
| Are you interested in experiencing a snapshot of life from another perspective, interested in experiencing how a big, diverse country like India ticks, or just plain curious about what happens in this country with its amazing eclectic mixture of people?
Sharon Thrupp was, and now lives and works in Dharamsala, India. She has also worked as a volunteer in Nepal, teaching English to children, and in India, coordinating volunteers in Mcleod Ganj. Sharon wanted to share these experiences with others so started Ekno Experience, an India-based travel company that gives people who don't have the time to organize independent travel or who like the safety and assurance of a group, the opportunity to discover what India has to offer. Her company offers a percentage of the tour cost to local charities. For those interested in personal growth, there are many opportunities to study alongside learned teachers. The spectacle and colour will keep you enthralled if you are simply looking for an adventure. And for the armchair traveller, Sharon will give you food for thought! Travel in India can change your life. Come and hear how India changed her life and how it could change yours! When: 6 - 8pm Friday 18 August, 2006 Where: Asia Bookroom, Lawry Place, Macquarie RSVP: By Wednesday August 9 for catering and seating purposes. Click Here to Contact Us |
