| Join award-winning writer Kate Grenville, author of The Secret River, in conversation with political journalist and biographer Christine Wallace as they discuss the importance of reading and writing.
Indigenous Literacy Day is a partnership between the Australian Book Industry and The Fred Hollows Foundation. It aims to help raise urgently needed funds to address the literacy crisis in remote Indigenous communities. The funds raised will be used by The Fred Hollows Foundation to buy books and literacy resources for over 35 Indigenous communities in NT, WA, QLD and North-West NSW. Book Signing to follow.
