58 pages of text, 50 leaves of collotype plates showing 171 objects. Bound in Japanese style, floral endpapers printed in gold with applied black lacquer decoration. Inscribed "Mr and Mrs H.W. Bird with best regards J.O" one prelim. Binding considerably worn and damaged, cloth on lower cover has been removed leaving slightly torn paper covered boards, some insect damage spine, endpapers little creased, occasional creases and small tears on tissue guards, neat name slightly browned first blank, still contents quite good. quarto.
