Issue no.19 of the excellent scholarly journal Papers on Far Eastern History, a special issue on China's 1911 Revolution. Appendix, 228 pp, typescript in original wrappers. Spine and covers a little faded, but overall in very good condition.

This issue looks at China's 1911 Revolution from many aspects, including military and defence, overseas Chinese involvement, students and revolutionary culture, Shanghai Peach Conference of 1911, problem of Japanese Government Finance, the Chinese revolution and Inner Mongolia, Elite militarism and populist protest, etc.
Appendix includes Japanese documents on Russo-Chinese Negotiations of 1906; and on discussion by Hsu Shih-Ch'ang and Yuan Shih-Kai on the 1907 Reorganisation of Northern China.
