191pp + 32 page publisher's catalogue bound in at rear, upper section of title page reads "Library of University College/Presented by the author" neatly written in ink, the middle section of the title shows a University College London small oval stamp with "withdrawn" stamped across it. 19th century library cloth binding a little stained and marked, original backstrip somewhat damaged laid down. Nine essays are included in this book: Calculating Machine.
