One page manuscript letter in Chinese with envelope, letter measures 31.3 x 20.5cm, envelope measures 19.7 x 9.6cm, handwritten text in Chinese calligraphy, letterhead features Dr.Sun Yat-sen's portrait with text in traditional Chinese. The Nationalist Party's slogan runs down the right side of the letter in printed red characters. A little occasional browning, light creasing where the letter and envelope have been folded, very good.

A letter to Priest Bai Ai En inviting him to preside over a church service at The Church of Christ in China Anhui Huaiyuan Church (Zhonghua ji du jiao Anhui Huaiyuan tang) which was a Congregational and Presbyterian church.

At the time this letter was written China was still governed by the Chinese Nationalist Party. The Chinese text in letterhead is the first part of Dr.Sun Yat-sen's two-part final testament written just before he died in 1925. It sums up the forty years achievement of the National Revolution and also sets out the future direction for the National Party. The most famous National Party slogan is also fragmentarily taken out from the testament. The slogan reads, "The work of the Revolution is not yet done. Let all our comrades strive on for their consummation."
