This business letter from Nihon Yūsen Co Ltd in Tokyo to the Ōno Kaisha Meeting Room in Aichi Prefecture is dated July the 5th, 1916. This letter probably accompanied the commemorative volume Nihon Yūsen published to celebrate its 30th anniversary. It appears that this letter probably accompanied a copy of the commemorative volume which was sent following a delay. Nihon Yūsen had originally turned down Ōno Kaisha's request for a copy as they had been too busy sending copies to other designated locations. However after especially considering Ōno Kaisha request to have a copy it appears their wish was granted.
