Colour offset lithograph small poster featuring a graphic image by Amos Sewel, 30.5 x 21.5cm, very light staining and wear at edges. A nice copy. An unusual colour example of the work of Californian artist Amos Sewel (1901 - 1983) whose usual preference was to work in charcoal.

Published by the Office for Emergency Management. Office of War Information. Domestic Operations Branch. Bureau of Special Services which was a reference and fact-gathering unit for Federal agencies, members of Congress, the White House, and the public. Its services included clipping of items from daily newspapers on specific fields of interest, making weekly and daily reports on press and radio comment, conducting public-opinion surveys to determine the public's response to war programs, and providing research and reference service for operating and policy officials of the Office of War Information.
