Single sheet printed in red on both sides, on one side is the Chinese version of the"The Internationale" and on the other a map showing Shanghai Xijiao Park. Very good. Text in Chinese. 19 x 26.2cm. There are two well known versions of the Chinese lyrics translation. This one was translated by Xiao San (1896 - 1983), a Chinese poet and translator, from Russian in 1923. The other version was also translated in 1923 from French original by Qu Qiubian (1899 - 1935) a leading Chinese communist who was executed by the Nationalist Party of China in 1935.

A propaganda slogan "Highest Directive - Serve the People" shows on right upper cover on the map of Shanghai Xijiao Park. The park opened its door in 1954 and was renamed as Shanghai Zoo in 1980 (When referring to this item please quote stockid 163609).
