Black & white woodblock illustrations in text, coloured folding maps each neatly repaired along folds in volume III. Traditional Japanese four-hole stab binding. Title labels laid down upper covers, a little chipped on volume I, wrappers marked and chipped in places, corners creased. A prior owner's inked annotations on covers of volumes II and III. Text in Japanese. 20.8 x 13.5cm. This Japanese work was based on British and American geographical textbooks. The world is divided into six sections - Asia, Africa, Europe, North America, South America and offers an overview of each country.
