Coloured sugoroku, folded as issued. 少女スポーツ双六. [Shōjo supōtsu sugoroku] is printed in full colour while on the reverse "Zennihon joshi undō hanagata senshu to saishin kiroku 全日本女子運動花形選手と最新記録 is printed featuring 15 photos of sportswomen and two photos of groups of women's teams is printed in blue ink. Torn along vertical central fold and mended with brown paper on reverse causing some fairly minor loss of text. A little light soiling and wear.

A colourful sugoroku featuring women playing a range of sports, including tennis, netball, athletics, swimming, volleyball and ping-pong. The surrounding text provides information on how to play the game, while the central image shows a victorious sports woman receiving her trophy. The images are delightful and quintessentially 1920s illustrations of the more liberated "new women" of Taisho Era Japan.

The reverse side shows photos of leading women sports champions of the day, and tables of Japanese women's sports records in swimming and athletics. The text discusses the problem of identifying the greatest Japanese women sports players, and notes that whereas official records exist in sports such as track and field, there are no records in sports like tennis. It also states that, although there are rankings in men's tennis, there are no official rankings in women's tennis. The women champions featured (with photos) include Irie Hiroko and Nagai Hanako in swimming, Terao Fumiko in 100 metres sprint, and Fukusawa Tokiko in high jump. Published by the sports section of the Osaka Shinbun newspaper.
