Chinese advertisement poster, depicting two Chinese beauties in traditional Chinese consume performing 佾舞 "Yi Dance" (a ceremonial dance) in the palace. Each dancer holds a bamboo flute in the left hand which symbolises balance, and a long pheasant tail feather in the right hand as a sign of integrity. A Chinese emperor sits in a chair decorated with dragon head armrest upper right section watching the performance. Artist's name and chop in artistic style left edge. A 2cm closed tear lower edge, light browning mainly on edges with light creasing, good. Text in Chinese. 29 x 38.4cm. Text lower edge reads "gift from National Painted Co Ltd".
