Family-planning knowledge, attitude and practice (KAP) survey carried out before and after two-year family planning program in a village of northern Thailand. Family-planning methods offered were pills and long-acting injections. The survey showed that the family planning program resulted in favourable reception of authentic information about birth control from medical sources; improved knowledge of birth control methods; increased discussion between spouses about family planning; improved practice of contraception methods; and decreased pregnancies and births. -- Abstract
