Two issues of Cultural Revolution newspaper published by Red Guards organisations in Shanghai on 29 April 2917 and 24 August 1969. Each on a single sheet comprising four pages, stain on edge of one, the other evenly browned, some very minor wear, ill sound. Text in Chinese. Sheets measure 26 x 38cm and 26.8 x 38.5cm.

Issue no. 4 of 教育革命 "Education Revolution" reports how Liu Shaoqi attacked Chairman Mao's student 柯庆施 [Ke Qingshi]. Ke was accused as spy and was locked up during the Yan'an Rectification Movement in 1942.

Issue no. 2 of 红旗 "Red Flag" features a speech delivered by Premier Zhou Enlai on 15 August 1967 criticising Liu Shaoqi. Zhou urges people to only listen to Chairman Mao and Vice Chairman Lin Biao.
