Special Issue '84 details Norodom Sihanouk's 62nd birthday, an address given to the UN General Assembly in September 1984, as well as his attendance at the 35th anniversary celebrations of the foundation of the People's Republic of China with Prime Minister Son Sann and Princess Monique.

June 1988 Newsletter is an unofficial English translation of an address given by Norodom Sihanouk in Pyongyang on April 23 1988 'Who Prevents the Kampuchean Problem from Being Solved?'. The prince discusses the continued occupation of Cambodia by Vietnamese troops in the wake of the collapse of the Khmer Rouge regime, and the establishment of the Vietnamese and Soviet-aligned PR Kampuchea. American overtures in the region, and Vietnamese policy are critiqued by the prince.
