A player who alights in Singapore is instructed to sing a military song (to celebrate Japanese occupation) with the option of a short cut to Batavia by air. The game passes through India and Ceylon and to the Dutch East Indies from west to east, including Timor, and on to the Philippines and Micronesia before heading south to Dutch New Guinea. After stopping at Port Moresby (where Japanese troops were advancing as of October 1942), players travel towards Hawaii before reaching home.

The game sheet is richly illustrated with pictures of local people and fauna. Through this game, Japanese children were able to how vast and diverse the area under Japanese control at that time. The inset map shows the distance between locations. Interestingly, areas which were not under Japanese control, such as India and East New Guinea, are included in the journey.
