The most lengthy, that for Wuchow (Wuzhou) reports that "In spite of a serious outbreak of disturbance in the north of Kuangsi which during the latter half of 1904 brought trade over a considerable section of the province to a complete standstill, the customs returns for the year under review again show a large increase...mainly due to the unusually good rice and opium crops..." Twelve House of Commons Command Papers, tables, in all 193pp, 24.3 x 15.5 cm, edge wear and discolouration, a couple of the corners creased, neat inked stamp of the Unversity of Hull Library to the front wrapper of each of the Reports, in very good condition.
