Fine albumen prints of a river dredge and on the verso a public building with elaborate classical detail.

The river dredge is typical of those in use near Port Said during the construction of the Suez Canal. Two large format albumen print photographs, 19.5 x 26.3 cm and 20.7 x 26.5 cm, mounted on an album leaf, gilt edges, (one corner bumped and light toning) 26 x 34.2 cm, pale tone, but in very good condition. The upper corner of the architectural print has the imprint of handwriting to the verso of the image, (barely detectable), but begins Port Said, pssibly an early caption.
