Colour printed folded map of Southeast Asia and the South-Western Pacific, scale 1:17000000, 61.5 x 86.5cm, legends include oil fields, iron mines, Japanese communities and Japanese shipping lines, inset map of the Pacific Rim. Title of map neatly written in ink on reverse, some scattered browning, light wear along folds with a small hole at one fold and two tiny marginal closed tears.

Shows the train routes, roads, rivers, lakes, main air routes, iron mines, oil fields, Japanese fishing bases, coral reefs, swamps, deserts and includes main products of each country, such as phosphorate, copra, natural rubber, sheep, dairy, golds, pearls, copper, wheat, coffee, nickel, and tin. The map indicates the ports in Australia and Southeast Asia from which the Japanese pearling and fishing fleets operated. An inset map in the lower right corner shows the Pacific Rim (環太平洋現勢図) and the main sea and air bases are indicated in territories of the Allied nations, as well as shipping routes and the country's allegiances - neutral or Allied- are indicated by colour.
