Chinese Government propaganda booklet on the protests took place on 4 - 5 April 1976 at Tiananmen Square to commemorate the death of the late Premier Zhou Enlai. It includes editorials from People's Daily and Weihui Bao; and articles written by students, soldiers, workers to condemn the "Gang of Four". 142pp, original stapled wrappers, small areas around staples upper cover a little browned. Very good tight copy. Text in Chinese. 18.4 x 13cm.

This event, also known as the first Tiananmen Square Incident, was labelled counterrevolutionary and blamed on Deng Xiaoping by the radical government leaders. Deng Xiaoping was formally removed from all his positions on 7th April 1976.
