Manga Map of Domestic Produce: Colourful manga style pictorial map. Occasional browning, small stains on right margin. Folds a little worn and browned, tiny paper abrasion in one small place. Good.

Important Imports and Exports Chart: Printed on the reverse of the manga map of Japanese domestic produce this map is printed in black, red and white. Some spotting and light creasing. Good.

These pictorial maps were issued as a supplement to the 少女倶楽部(Girls' Club) magazine in October 1930. The magazine was very popular monthly magazine for girls for its educational content. In 1937, almost half a million copies were sold monthly.

The attractive manga map of domestic products shows a variety of local products both in Japan and also its territories from Sakhalin to Taiwan. Most are primary products but in some areas textiles are also included. On reverse the striking import and export map shows that Japan imported most of its raw materials from overseas and exported mainly textiles to North America.
