Carefully assembled scrapbook, unpaginated, with a signature and chop of the name 庄祖森 [Zhuang Zusen]. This thick scrapbook contains handwritten copies of Mao's quotations, excerpts from newspapers, government policies, journals; newspaper clippings including many black and white photographic images of Chairman Mao Zedong are neatly laid down on both side of pages. Some are featured news articles of people attending Chairman Mao's memorial service; some Mao's letters and poems and others feature the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall at Tiananmen Square.

Light browning, boards a little worn and marked but still a sound well kept album.

This fascinating scrapbook documents the major personal and political achievements of Chairman Mao. It also demonstrates Chairman Mao was much loved and remembered by the people.
