Colour woodblock illustrations, two double page, small colour images in text throughout, 62 double folded leaves, 18 x 12 cm. Two leaves damaged with loss now neatly repaired, leaves soiled particularly at lower corners. Modern four hole stab Japanese binding, dark blue cloth covered boards, blank decorative title label on cover.

This illustrated dictionary of business and trade covers such items as textiles, kimono, tools and equipment. Each item is delicatly illustrated in colour, with a short explanation.

The first edition was published in the late Edo period, although this edition was most likely published in the early Meiji period. All the illustrations reflect items from the Edo period, rather than Meiji.
