Very attractive decorative card covers a little worn at extremities but a very good copy. Loosely inserted are 2 striking luggage labels of the period advertising the Oriental Hotel in Dairen and the Kyoto-Hotel Japan. 19 x13cm.

Detailed illustrated guidebook for travellers on the South Manchurian Railway, with numerous photos. It consists of the Darien-Hinking Line, the Mukden-Autung Line, the Ryojun, Yingkou, and Fushun Branch lines, the Chinhsien-Chengte line, the Harbin-Feian lines and many other minor lines. The guide offers travellers advice on notable local landmarks, local transport and also gives a brief history of the railway's construction.
