Original hard cover, cloth and embossed cardboard, decorated in red, white and blue with Indochinese motifs mixed with the tricolour flag, Cross of Lorraine in the centre. 23.5 x 15.5cm. Some foxing to edges and browning to the margins of the textblock, from the library of Professor Anthony Reid with his name on the front pastedown, a good firm copy of a book that refers to the resistance in Indochina during the Second World War and the Japanese presence.
