Stock ID #180696 Scarce printing of the Dasarupa edited by the eminent philiologist Fitzedward Hall (1825-1901), the first American to edit a Sanskrit text, and was an early collaborator in the Oxford English Dictionary (OED). This text of the Dasarupa was published in the Bibliotheca Indica, perhaps the earliest Indological series, begun in 1849 by the Royal Asiatic Society, Bengal.
