Numerous black and white full-page plates, 143pp + unpaginated plates, index of temples, glossary of images, appendix, occasional foxing first and last pages and somewhat heavier on reverse of slightly soiled dustjacket. A prior owner has strengthened the upper and lower edges of the dustjacket with tape on the reverse and there are also a few closed tears, overall a very good hardback in a slightly damaged in a fair to good dustjacket with gilt lettering on spine. 34 x 27.5cm.
