Two works bound in one. Translation. xxix + 248pp, index, spine and corners little rubbed at extremities, slight bubbling of lower endpaper, still good, in hardback. The intention of Comyn's work was to present a sketch of the population, natural productions, industry and commerce of the Philippine Islands, with an account of the public revenue and expenses of administration. It was also intended to show the mode of government pursued in the provinces as well as describe the ravages committed on the coasts by Mahometan pirates.
