A biography of Admiral Okada Keisuke, veteran of the First Sino-Japanese and Russo-Japanese Wars, Commander-in-chief of the Combined Fleet from 1924-1926, and Navy Minister under Tanaka Giichi in 1927.

A vocal supporter of the Washington and London Naval Treaties and a generally pro-Western figure, he ultimately became Prime Minister in his own right from 1934-1936 - during which he was a target of assassination by extremist nationalists during the February 26 incident, after which he resigned.
