Outstanding Result for Nepalese Teacher & School
Many thanks to all our customers who contributed to raising the money for the 2023 salary of Nepalese teacher Aruna Kulung. In total well over 100 of us raised the amount of AU$18,051.50. As our target was to raise AU$7000 for Aruna's salary, thanks to your generosity we are able to help more than just one teacher and her students! The additional AU$11,051.50 will be used to fund Classrooms in the Clouds' (the charity running this programme) wider teacher training programme and provide additional classroom resources. With this extra money, CITC intend to expand the concept of class libraries, within their supported schools, to create "mini-libraries" that will operate alongside the main school libraries, making books even more prominent and accessible to the children. Thank you for making this possible!
