The artist Wu Changshuo (1844-1927) was a distinguished calligrapher, painter and seal artist. He is also known for Stone Drum Script calligraphy. Stone Drum Script is a pre-Qin (221BC) script, so called as the shape of its inscribed stone resembles drums.
