论党 [On Party] was written to present at the Seventh National Congress of the Communist Party of China by Liu Shaoqi in May 1945. It was later published by 人民出版社 [People's Publishing House] after being reviewed by Liu Shaoqi in 1950. In this edition a few words have been revised by the approval of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. It also includes two other political essays by Liu: 论党内斗争 [On Struggle within the Party] (1942) and 做一个好的党员， 建设一个好的党[To Be A Good Party Member, To Construct A Good Party] (1940).
