Large festive Chinese propaganda papercut on red paper with paper backing. The papercut depicts broad masses of people (workers, peasants and soldiers) in uniform or recognisable minority peoples costumes, gathered around Chairman Mao to show their support and admiration towards him. Many of them are holding the Little Red Book up high. Mao Zedong's head and collar portrait is centrally featured, the sun and its rays extending behind him. In very good condition. Papercut sheet measures 50.1 x 70.1cm.
