This book is jointly published by the Beijing Headquarters and the Shanghai branch of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China. The author and photographer Er Dongqiang travelled to 28 cities in 17 Provinces and visited 52 ICBC branches. The book is compiled in geographical order from the north (Heilongjiang Province) to the south (Guangdong Province) and from east to the west. It features 448 illustrations. In order to cover the most representative bank buildings in China and to trace their history, the author includes over 50 other non ICBC banks.
