Fine engraving, plate number 29 from Louis de Freycinet's: 'Voyage Autour du Monde. Atlas Historique.' The inscription (in Dutch) on the tomb of a chief reads "Hier leydt Tainoof K V Taibeno 24 October 1737' with the logo of the Dutch East India Company (VOC) at the head.
