Printed modern reproduction of Chinese Tang Dynasty painting. Printed so it could be divided into separate postcards 9 panels, folded in concertina style in attractive pictorial covers. Shows portraits of thirteen ancient emperors, brief introductory text and space left blank for postcode and stamp on reverse, in very good condition. Text in Chinese, postcard measures 12 x 19.1cm.

The thirteen emperors are: Emperor Zhao of Han, Emperor Guangwu of Han, Emperor Wen of Wei, Emperor Da of Eastern Wu, Emperor Zhaolie of Shu Han, Emperor Wu of Jin, Emperor Xuan of Chen, Emperor Wen of Chen, Emperor Fei of Chen, Emperor Houzhu of Chen, Emperor Wu of Northern Zhou, Emperor Wen of Sui and Emperor Yang of Sui. The original piece is now held in the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
