Engraved title, text printed single sided on 18 panels which when extended measures 30 x 188cm. Attractive marbled paper covered card covers with paper title label measure 16.4 x 11.2 cm. Text evenly browned, folds repaired with archival material, covers faint insect damage at the edges but overall the condition is very good.

This beautifully designed and laid out folding example of Japanese political ephemera provides explanations of the main branches of government in each country and the relationship between the executive and legislature - information that was both novel and very important to many in Japan as the country developed its own modern political institutions.
