Rare atmospheric lithograph of costal cliffs near Clifton (now a suburb of Wollongong), NSW, soon after the Coalcliff Colliery had been officially opened. The image was produced using a process pioneered by Samuel Phillips (a photographer) and Adam Stephan (a lithographic printer) in 1887 from their studio in Wolloomooloo.
