Japanese colour woodblock print, 36 X 24cm on sheet size 38 x 26.5cm. A bright image, with strong embossing. 0.6cm area of residue to mid lower edge and 1.8cm area of residue to lower left corner, light soiling to mid right edge, all outside image area; very good.

Image of a white and a pink chrysanthemum, signed in the image by Ono Bakufu (1888-1976). Later in his career, Bakufu published detailed and delicate woodblock prints on fish and aqua creatures. Printed by the Kyoto Hanga-in.
