Partially completed colour painting on cream cotton cloth, the face and small portion of the upper section of his cap are finished, the remaining portrait is in pencil only, 43 x 44cm. Lightly creased from folding, light staining, a few marks but overall in good condition.

In this portrait of General Douglas MacArthur, he is depicted wearing a military cap with pencil outlined badge, gazing into the distance with a look of determination. The work bears no title or signature, but the facial features unmistakably resemble those of the General. Although he is not shown with his iconic corn cob pipe, the likeness to Douglas MacArthur is clear and compelling.
