This attractive unusual colour woodblock printed folding item appears to be constructed from three woodblock sheets which have been neatly joined together. The woodblock print used for the interior was designed by Osaka-based artist (Gyokutei) Yoshimine who worked during the period 1856-1877. Measures 16 x 11.5cm folded. Some worming, wear particularly at edges and soiling, but nevertheless an intriguing and attractive piece of Japanese paper art.
