Some foxing mainly on margins of plates, only affecting some images. Publisher's embossed cloth covered boards with elaborate gilt stamped title device on each upper board, faded at periphery (neatly rebacked in maroon Morocco, inner hinges re-enforced), bumped at corners. Armorial bookplate of Frederic Straker on front pastedown of Volume II. Sound and complete, an attractive work.
