12 colour illustrations printed on both sides of 6 sheets, 17 x 19cm. This story printed as a small kamishibai was originally sold with a record which narrated the story of the boy detective. Unfortunately the record is missing. Very occasional light browning otherwise good.

This kamishibai (picture story show) narrates a Japanese boy's detective adventure. The text of the story is absent, as the illustrations were originally accompanied by a narration, told on a now missing, record and sold as a set by Teichiku Record Company. The plot follows a boy and his parents attacked by Manchurian bandits at a settlement. He survives, but his parents are kidnapped. After recovering from his injuries, the boy locates the bandits' hideout where his parents are imprisoned. He sets the hideout ablaze, successfully rescuing his parents.
