Folding map of Wilda's expedition (bound at rear), black and white plates and photographic illustrations, [x] + 312pp + [iv]pp publisher's advertisements; tangerine cloth-covered boards, embossed figure of a god on the front board, spine gilt lettered, decorative endpapers figured with a lotus leaf design, tinted foredges, text in German, 22.7 x 15.7cm, cloth slightly rubbed and dusty and the spine a little faded, marginal age toning, but a very good clean copy.
