A commemorative book of stamps featuring lighthouses, 12pp with some fold-out pictorial illustrations and designs. Each page has a different set of stamps in plastic display pockets as issued. Black and white and coloured photographic illustrations throughout, 32.5 x 21.5cm, text in simplified Chinese characters and English. Includes a page of four postcards of different lighthouses with their respective stamps. Board pictorial covers, protected in a slip case. Minor stains on a few pages, in original slip case, excellent condition, and stamps are pristine.

The lighthouses in this volume include both modern structures and ancient pagodas. Of particular interest are the stamps commemorating Zheng He's maritime expeditions.
