Number 41 from the series "One hundred famous views of Edo" (Meishō Edo Hyakkei ) which Hiroshige worked on between 1856 and 1858. Hachiman Shrine in Ichigaya was founded in the15th century and during the Edo period it attracted many visitors. It still stands on the original site.
