Folding pictorial map printed in brown ink, 39.3 x 54.3cm, five identical souvenir metal plates from the event, each 10.5cm in diameter accompany the map. The colour image on each of the plates is chipped in places. An interesting collection of Exposition ephemera.

This guide map of the 5th Domestic Promotion Exposition depicts the layout of the exposition grounds and identifies the various pavilions. The exposition was held at the site where Tennoji Park now stands. Over 5 million people visited the event between March and July 1903.

The mpa shows a bird's-eye view of the site with Tennoji Temple with its pagoda in the background. An inset illustration of an aquarium in Sakai is also included. The five souvenir metal plates feature a delicate illustration of the main gate to the exposition with many visitors. On reverse, the manufacturer's name and address are printed.
