Fourteen tipped-in numbered fabric samples with information in Japanese, tipped in black and white photographs, [14]pp, 29.8 x 22.3cm, papered boards with title label on front cover, accordion style binding. Sample number 8 has some tape residue to the paper but not affecting the fabric. A very nice trade sample book.

This kimono fabric sample book for early summer of 1969 showcases beautiful silk fabric pieces of the Omeshi style fabric, namely yarn-dyed silk fabric known for its crisp touches. The Omeshi fabric has been regarded as one of the highest quality and most expensive kimonos. The book, with a title of four seasons, shows fabric samples, photographs of larger pieces, their production locations, product names, prices and weights. Production locations are either Nishijin in Kyoto or Tokaichi in Niigata.
