A curious map of Asia, showing some rather odd creative choices made by the mapmakers. Papua New Guinea has been carefully split into its two constituent territories of Papua and New Guinea, reflecting the purely nominal division of the territory, though no such effort has been made for any other sub-national divisions. Likewise, Mongolia has bizarrely been marked as "Mongolian Republics" - a name that has no apparent basis in reality.
